Rodeo Cantina & Grill opens

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the doors to Blakely’s newest eatery, William and Lizz Gallegos’s Rodeo Cantina & Grill, opened with a ribbon cutting.

Rodeo Cantina opens seven days a week at 11 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, they close at 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday they are open until 10. They can be reached at (229) 475-9799 and are located at 546-D South Church Street.

The beautifully renovated property is part of the restoration-in-progress of the Wallchap Shopping Center, formerly Sawyer Shopping Center in Blakely. Mandy and Chad Chapman and Brad Waller purchased the property last year to reinvest in their hometown.

They, along with Susanne Reynolds, Early County economic development director, are responsible for this new restaurant.
